Geek moment
AAAAH! I just checked, on a whim, to see when the LOTR Symphony tickets would be going on sale, and guess what?
They already are. It's not so bad, though, 'cause they just went on sale this Saturday and there are still good seats left. NOW all I have to do is figure out who wants to go and how many tickets I need. AAAAH! AAAAH! Am excited. Am a geek. If anyone (who I actually know, of course...) wants to go, let me know!!
p.s. It's really bleepin' snowing outside. This might call for a celebratory mug of hot chocolate at some point. :)
ETA (3:15 PM): Okay, the tickets have been ordered; 2 of them, because Susan said she'd like to go. Luckily, my mother used her non-geeky logical thinking to talk me out of getting the most expensive tickets, because as far as I know, there really isn't anything you
really need to look at that closely. Sure, it'd be nice to be closer to the musicians, but it isn't
necessary, right? So yeah. We're gonna be on the 2nd level balcony, off to the right a bit, and come to think of it, I don't know how good that is, because there's a big screen (I think) behind the musicians and who knows what we'll be able to see from where we are? Oh hell. Well, it's done, and I'm going, so that's all I can ask. :)
p.p.s. *grumbles* I thought this new computer was supposed to be faster, better, etc. etc. Couldn't even get some pages on the ticketmaster site to show up properly. Had better luck with the older, slower, noisier machine.... :P
